Description

[Machine Translation] That summer--I was in love with the Beatles, and then I met you. A masterpiece of coming-of-age film following "Sing Street: Songs for the Future" and "Goodbye, Summer"! A story of love and growth of the boys in a band, set against the nostalgic backdrop of the Scandinavian cityscape and accompanied by the Beatles' classic songs! This coming-of-age music movie is based on the best-selling novel "Beatles", published in 1984 by Lars S vje Christensen, a leading Norwegian writer, and translated in more than 20 countries around the world. All of the Beatles' songs in the film are officially licensed, and a-ha's Magne Frucholmen serves as musical director. The film is produced by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg, who directed "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Last Airbender," the latest in the world-famous "Pirates of the Caribbean" series. The film, directed by the up-and-coming Scandinavian director Peter Flint, brings out the best in the young cast, who have little acting experience, and presents a fresh depiction of a boy's summer story colored by first love, friendship, and music.
Special Feature / Bonus Track: original trailer(s) (subject to change)
