As a fan of Fushigi Yuugi I was extremely happy to get this drama CD and as an added bonus there's a cast roundtable where they all talk about the making of the CD itself. I found it particularly funny that they're asked by Hien's VA to introduce themselves with their favorite article of stationery. Also actually hearing Takiko sing the "Gondola Song" was nice since it kind of falls flat in the manga itself. These drama CDs are a perfect compliment to the manga, and although they don't quite follow exactly to the letter, the tracks are close enough that if you wanted to follow along with the translated version you wouldn't be too far off. If you're a fan of Japanese anime a lot of top voice actors are in the cast including Takehito Koyasu who is one of my favorites as Haagasu. (Could he be nostalgic because he played a certain other character? ^_^) Anyhow I recommend these drama CDs for all fans of the Fushigi Yuugi universe! You'll be happy you invested in it!
