Ai Shimizu's debut album. The music consists of relaxing fantasy/fairy tale-like pop which doesn't surprise me at all because one of the composers is in the gothic lolita pop act Ali Project. A very enjoyable effort with Ai's vocals complimenting each song nicely. I think she's better at mellow/mysterious stuff rather than typical high-pitched j-pop. The highlights of the album are: The titular song 'Hatsuga jouken M' which is a waltz-song where violins slowly descend into menacing guitars. It sounds like a movie theme. 'Ringohashi ochita' and 'Rasenno prologue' are rather radio-friendly, very pomp pop songs, 'Ringohashi' being cuter and faster. 'Cameo, cameo' is a slow but majectic piece with powerful orchestration and some symphonic rock elements(every japanese song just needs a guitar solo or two in the middle). Again, very movie-like.
