The best drummer, best bass guitarist (Haruomi Hosono!), best lead guitarist, best pianist; that was Happy End. Even after they stopped touring together, they became a backup group for people like Kosaka Chu, Yumi Arai, and so many others I lost count. They continued to get better as musicians and artists. When they did a complete remake of their greatest songs with Kosaka Chu as the vocalist, they were complete professionals. That album became "HORO". You must search for it under Kosaka Chu, because Happy End was long gone, even though they played every instrument on the album. Having the awesome Kosaka Chu doing the vocals means their isn't a single bad note sung on that album. This isn't that album, and their are some "wrong notes" sung on this album. The compositions and music became the cornerstones of Japanese rock for all time, wrong notes and all.
