サウンドクリエイター【Revo】が主宰するアーティスト集団Sound Horizon。メジャーデビューAround 15周年を記念し、2004年にリリースされた『Elysion -楽園への前奏曲-』から2015年にリリースされた『Nein』までのメジャー作品全11タイトルをRevo監修により最新技術でリマスタリングし、ハイスペックCD規格であるUHQCDでリリースすることが決定。ベルウッドレコード、キングレコード、ポニーキャニオンの3社共同で"Sound Horizon Around 15th Anniversary Re:Master Production"シリーズとして発売。リマスタリングを手掛けるのは、アメリカの伝説的マスタリング・エンジニア=バーニー・グランドマンのもとで学び、1997年に東京支社を開設、マスタリング・エンジニアとして数多くのヒット作品を担当した日本を代表するマスタリング・エンジニアの1人、Bernie Grundman Mastering Tokyo代表・前田康二。Sound Horizonでも数多くの作品でマスタリングを担当してきたキーマン。そしてRevo監修のもと、今回メディアとして選定したUHQCD (Ultimate High Quality CD)はCD規格に準拠しており、既存のCDプレーヤーで再生が可能。新しく開発された製法により、従来の高音質ディスクよりさらに原盤に忠実な音を楽しむことができる。リマスタリングとUHQCDで磨きぬかれた音質は、聴く人に新たな感動をもたらすことだろう。 ※本作品は2006.10.04にTEAM Entertainmentからリリースされた『少年は剣を・・・』(KDSD-111)をリマスタリングしたUHQCDです。
