For all those who were fans of the first series (Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha), Nanoha is back! Picking up a few months after the ending of the first series, life for Nanoha has returned to a state of mostly normal, aside from her now daily morning magic training. This all changes when one night, she is attacked by a girl bearing a strange magic device and calling herself a member of the Wolkenritter (German for Storm Knights). Nanoha is quickly defeated by this strange girl, and while her friends come to her aid, more members of the Wolkenritter also appear, each one bearing a unique magical device an immense power. From there, a war begins - a war against a feared item of Lost Logia, one that has persisted through time called the Book of Darkness. This terrifying book absorbs magical power and stores it for a greater purpose - and no sooner has the war begun, than Nanoha herself has her magical power stolen...

The 1st press edition comes in a nice package of a slip jacket and black digipack. The packaging itself looks great. It comes with a booklet (showing official arts & description of the characters, summary of ep 1~3 and few images shown from the DVD). Another extra things that comes with the first press edition is the device cards (Raising Heart & Bardiche). The card itself showing the information of the device and its master on it. The card is made out of a high quality stuff. Well, what I can say is it is very shiny. As expected the quality, colours, sound, etc. is really good. You can see a few changes of the scenes that is been refined or redrawn in this DVD; e.g: magical effects. The extra' on the dvd didn't disappoint me at all. There are 3 extras; a textless opening sequence, a brieft preview of last season show accompany with the full version of season one ending song and a cast interview (Tamura Yukari & Mizuki Nana). Bonus CD, well it consist of few background musics of the show that is not available anywhere. And the voice of devices is available in this CD also. To sum up everything; I give it a 5. Why? Well it is simple, because I like it.
