CD Drama Collections Harukanaru Jiku no Naka de 3 Usuzukiyo 2

This is the 2nd half of the drama started in Usuzukiyo 1 & the one I was MUCh more interested in, since it also contains the solo song by Yuzuru Arikawa!! It is one of my very favorite songs EVER and I love how it's sung & written!! Beautiful! Poor Yuzuru kun!! He thinks he's so unworthy of NOzomi-chan! The drama of course is also praiseworthy & fills us in on more character development between Kurou and his people. The main idea is that a woman whose son died in this war, headed by Kurou, wants vengeance against him. Not only because her son died, but because he never even cared to know her son--he didn't even know his name or rank or anything. He was just a "soldier" to Kurou who gave his life for the war. The woman gets so overcome with this grief and anger that she poisons some food (with some evil magic in it as well to top it off!) and, pretending to be a kindly old woman, offers it to the travelers--particularly to Kurou. He eats it and becomes deathly ill. Of course, the cast figures it out (with the help of Yuzuru and White Dragon) and they cure Kurou with the help of the woman, who is not really bad (yeah, right! Poisoning?!)& Kurou learns to value his soldiers. Great!
