"Kowakunaitte, Honto?" A new-style horror action series in which the strongest kindergarten child dominates unfolds at a kindergarten, with the TV anime broadcast starting January 2026, and Blu-ray Volume 1 released. The original work is the popular manga "Kaya-chan Isn't Scary" by Yuritaro, serialized on the web comic site "Kurage Bunch." Kaya-chan is a notorious problem child even at kindergarten, but her teacher Chie discovers her hidden ability. Directed by Hiroshi Ikehata of "Witch Watch" and "Fly Me to The Moon," with animation produced by East Fish Studio, known for "The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World" and "A Condition Called Love." Kaya-chan attends Hanamugi Kindergarten and possesses extremely strong spiritual powers, secretly defeating ghosts that creep up on friends and family, though her behavior is misunderstood and she is labeled a troublemaker. When her homeroom teacher Chie learns her secret, changes begin to appear in Kaya-chan's kindergarten life. Today as well, Kaya-chan's punches explode against the eerie and vicious supernatural beings that appear one after another. Includes episodes 1 through 4.
