Prove it. Show the worth of humankind. The long-awaited anime adaptation of Yuji Iwahara's authentic high fantasy series is available as a Blu-ray Box release. The project is directed by Kiyotaka Taguchi, a veteran tokusatsu creator known for his longtime work as a director on the Ultraman series, marking his first time directing an animated title. Series composition is handled by Keigo Koyanagi, known for his series composition work on "The Rising of the Shield Hero" and "Bang Brave Bang Bravern," and character design is by Soichiro Sako, who previously served as character designer on "Magi: Adventure of Sinbad" and "Buddy Daddies." Animation production is by Lay-duce, the studio behind "#Compass 2.0: Combat Providence Analysis System" and "Tomo-chan Is a Girl!" Alicia, who has admired heroes since childhood, becomes one of the thirteen heroes chosen by the king. The heroes set out to defeat the Beast King Clevatess, bearing the legendary sword, but their reckless courage triggers a catastrophic crisis that threatens to annihilate humankind across the entire Edsea continent. The world's final remaining hope rests on a single infant entrusted to the Beast King. All 12 chapters are included. Bonus video features include: making-of footage of the tokusatsu scene from Chapter 1 (director's cut), special discussion videos (Kiyotaka Taguchi x Mamoru Oshii, Kiyotaka Taguchi x Shinji Higuchi), textless opening and ending, a collection of promotional videos and commercials, and web previews (Chapters 1 to 12). The set comes in a special box featuring newly illustrated artwork by character designer Soichiro Sako, and also includes a booklet containing an interview with director Kiyotaka Taguchi and Takuro Tsukada plus an original comic newly drawn by Yuji Iwahara, along with a setting materials collection titled "CLEVATESS MATERIALS."
