Recorded at a session at Chiba's home in the West Tokyo area, the album, as the title suggests, is a sound image of the deepening of "blue" as it moves from dusk to night. The mood is serene yet intimate, with a warmth that gradually spreads through the calmness of the music. In addition to seven original compositions by Yoshizawa and Chiba, the album includes the traditional Hawaiian song "No Ke AnoAhiahi" and an instrumental cover of Madonna's "Like a Virgin" that is full of surprises. The three players' conversations with each other, combined with the ethereal, atmospheric sound, create an "ambient Americana" atmosphere. 西東京の6畳間から放たれる、アンビエント・アメリカーナへの鮮やかな返答。YOUR SONG IS GOODやXTALとのユニット、赤えんぴつ (バナナマン)での活動でも知られるギタリスト・吉澤成友。多様なミュージシャンのサポート/プロデュースを務め、映画『敵』のサウンドトラックでも注目を集めたベーシスト/作曲家/プロデューサーの千葉広樹。cero、YOUR SONG IS GOOD、赤えんぴつ、草なぎ剛など数々の現場を支えるドラマー光永渉。多方面で活躍するこの実力派3名が新バンド "blah bruh" を結成。自主制作で発表したカセット作品『BLUE EVE』は瞬く間に完売し、正式リリースを望む声が高まる中、待望のファーストアルバムがカクバリズムよりリリース。西東京エリアにある千葉の自宅で行われたセッションを収録した本作は、タイトルのとおり、夕暮れから夜へと移りゆく"青"の深まりをそのまま音像化したような作品。静謐でありながら親密、穏やかさの中にじんわりと温度が宿るムードが広がる。吉澤・千葉によるオリジナル曲7曲に加え、ハワイアン・トラディショナル「No Ke AnoAhiahi」、そして意外性に満ちたマドンナ「Like a Virgin」のインストゥルメンタル・カバーを収録した全9曲。互いのプレイで会話を重ねる3者のやり取りは、幽玄でアトモスフェリックな音響と相まって"アンビエント・アメリカーナ"的な広がりを獲得。Sam Wilkes,Craig Weinrib,Dylan Dayによる『Sam Wilkes,Craig Weinrib,and Dylan Day』(LEAVING RECORDS,2024)を想起させる瞬間も。サウンドは千葉 (Bass)が録音～ミキシング～マスタリングを担当。アートワークは吉澤 (Guitar)が手掛けている。熟練ミュージシャンたちのセッションが生み出すリラックスした時間――そのゆるやかな没入感を、どうぞお楽しみください!
