JNOのチェロセクション、森田啓介・水野優也・香月麗・佐々木賢二の4名が、新たに「JNO Cello Quartet」を結成。アメリカ、ドイツ、フランス、オーストリアと、それぞれ異なる地で研鑽を積んだ4人による、チェロの魅力を存分に味わえる新プロジェクト。本プロジェクトは、約2年前に交わされた「4人でクリスマスアルバムを作らない?」という何気ない会話から生まれました。クラシックの技術と感性を活かしながら、誰もが親しみやすいクリスマス・ソングを、チェロならではの豊かな響きでる息の合ったアンサンブルを聴かせてくれる。編曲はJNOヴァイオリニスト石原悠企を中心に、メンバー自身も一部を手がけており、温もりと深みが随所に感じられる仕上がり。4人の仲の良さと演奏の楽しさが音に表れており、聴く人の心を包み込むような一枚となっている。チェロの温かく深みのある音色が、聖夜をやさしく包み込む。この冬、JNO Cello Quartetが奏でる"クリスマスの物語"を、ぜひお楽しみください。
