One day, "Demon Lord Maxim," whom the protagonists Kirika and Masha serve as maids, has his castle destroyed by the rival Demon Lord "Lyzenorg." While his retainers are wiped out, Kirika and Masha survive. Demon Lord Maxim also barely survives, but his form is drastically transformed. So begins a story of revenge and revival for the three of them! - Explore the vast demon realm and revive the Demon Lord and your allies! While keeping the action that was well-received in the previous game, "Gal Guardians: Demon Purge," the exploration and collection elements have been given a major boost! The map has expanded from a stage-clear format to an exploration-based one -- in other words, a "Metroidvania" -- more than doubling the size of the previous game. The demon realm is scattered with puzzle elements such as hidden passages and gimmicks, which stand as obstacles to collecting Demon Lord Maxim's bones and reviving him. Depending on the situation of the sisters Kirika and Masha and the sub-weapons they carry, try out different routes and strategies to accomplish your goal! You can also expand and add support functions to your home base, the Demon Lord's castle, by finding the souls of the Demon Lord's retainers scattered across the realm and reviving them. Fully voiced dialogue scenes with the distinctive demon retainers add color to the moments between gameplay. - Devilish action switching between the sisters! The new playable characters are demon-maid sisters: the elder sister Kirika, who excels at ranged attacks, and the younger sister Masha, who excels at close-range attacks! The sub-weapons that consume magic power to use also differ between the sisters, so switch between them at the right moment to cover each other's weaknesses. Even if one of the sisters runs out of strength in battle against the demons, reaching her fallen sister lets you revive her through a "Sister Rescue."
