韓国ドラマ初挑戦となる高島礼子と、ドラマ『美男(イケメン)ですね』に出演し俳優としてもブレイクしたイ・ホンギ (FTISLAND)日本と韓国のビッグスターが共演! 視聴者からも大絶賛の嵐! 心温まるハートフルストーリー『のり子、ソウルへ行く!』ついにDVD発売決定! 韓流が大好きな日本人主婦・のり子は、ある日、ガンという深刻な診断結果を受ける。自身の病気や家庭問題で心を悩ませるのりこだったが、ソウルで開催されるスターオーディション番組のことをテレビの宣伝で知り、急遽ソウルへ行くことを決める。その理由とは、子供の頃の夢である歌手を諦めていたのりこがオーディションに挑戦することで、娘にやればできるという姿を見せたいという思いと、オーディションの審査員を務める、のりこが恋焦がれる韓流スター"ヒョンちゃん"に会いたい!という熱い願いからだった。歌が決して上手とはいえないのり子は、オーディション会場でスターを目指すイケメン青年・ミンハの歌に衝撃を受け、本選に残るため「歌の先生になってほしい!」と頼み込む。お小遣い目当てに軽い気持ちで歌の指導を引き受けたミンハ。歌手志望ながらもオーディションに落ち続け、熱意を失っていたミンハだが、何事にもひたむきなのり子と一緒にいるうちに徐々に心を動かされていく。しかし、懸命にオーディション突破を目指すのり子のもとに日本の夫から娘が登校拒否をしていると連絡が入るのだが・・・。 スペシャルフォトブック (約20ページ)封入。
