V. Mokranjac Complete Piano Works

[Machine Translation] Serbian composer Vasily Mokranyats. Born into a musical family, his father Jovan was the nephew of Stefan Mokranyats, who is known for his contribution to the development of modern Serbian music, and his mother Elena was an excellent cellist. However, his interest turned to composition and he gave up piano. He decided to pursue a career as a composer and educator. He then taught at the Serbian Music School (where his great-uncle's name Stefan is listed) from 1948 to 1956, and later served as president of the Serbian Society of Composers, making a great contribution to music education in Serbia during his lifetime. However, at the age of 60, he suddenly took his own life, leaving behind many unfinished works, and not much research has been done on his works. Anyway, this 2-CD set contains all of his piano works.

Note: This is an import edition (manufactured outside of Japan).
