U-zhaan, the tabla virtuoso, returns with his long-awaited new album - his first in approximately 11 years since "Tabla Rock Mountain." Through groundbreaking collaborations with an eclectic lineup of guest artists from across genres and borders, this work pushes the expressive potential of the tabla to its very limits. Listeners are invited into a one-of-a-kind sonic universe that only U-zhaan can create - an artist whose career has traversed hip-hop, electronic music, pop, and Indian classical traditions. The album features a diverse array of tracks, including collaborations with Chinza DOPENESS, Cornelius, Ichiko Aoba, Hanaregumi, and Sasuke Haraguchi. It also includes a Bengali-language rap track featuring Bengali rapper Cizzy, as well as an authentic Indian classical piece with celebrated sitarist Purbayan Chatterjee. Adding even more depth, the album includes a newly mixed version of "Tibetan Dance," originally released in 2015 as a vinyl-only collaboration between Ryuichi Sakamoto and U-zhaan. This richly packed release offers a vibrant and boundary-defying musical journey. This edition features cardboard sleeve packaging.
