凸凹親子が挑む、トライアスロン最高峰"アイアンマンレース"! 父と子の勇気ある挑戦があなたの胸を熱くする! ――車いすの生活をおくる17歳のジュリアンは、失業して久しぶりに帰って来る父ポールとの再会を楽しみにしていた。だが、息子とどう接していいか分からないポールは、口をきこうともしない。そんな父にジュリアンは、とんでもない提案を突き付ける。「父さんと、アイアンマンレースに出たい。」若い頃にトライアスロン出場の経験を持つポールだが、「ムリだ」のひと言で一蹴する。アイアンマンレースは、トライアスロンの中でも最難関。鍛え抜かれたスポーツマンでも過酷なレース。しかし、負けず嫌いのジュリアンは諦めない。様々な作戦を企て父を説得。さらには、心配性の母をも説き伏せ晴れてチーム結成となる。「これまでの時間を取り戻す。」「もう子供じゃないことを、認めさせる。」ふたりの無謀すぎる挑戦は、やがて周囲の人々を巻き込んで、皆の夢へと変わっていく。そして迎えた運命の日、様々な困難を乗り越えた〈グレートデイズ〉にゴールは来るのか―?
