2018年2月4日、ザ・シンフォニーホールで行われた、オオサカ・シオン・ウインド・オーケストラ第119回定期演奏会のライヴ録音。芸術顧問秋山和慶の指揮のもと、"管楽器が煌く20世紀の音楽～管弦楽から吹奏楽へ～"というテーマで催されたコンサート。前半は、秋山と親交の深かった3人のアメリカの作曲家の作品から、吹奏楽に編曲され演奏される機会も多い楽曲群を。後半はヨーロッパの音楽から、13名のブラスバンドを加え、その他の管楽器にも重要なパートを与えているヤナーチェク「シンフォニエッタ」を取り上げている。
