Turntable Overture [Limited Release]

[Machine Translation] Turntable Overture" was produced after "Suburban Baroque" in 2017 and "The Very Best of CARNATION " LONGTIME TRAVELLER" in 2018 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the band's formation. Based on the highly original Carnation sound, "Turntable Overture" contains a total of 11 songs with a universal pop feel and a wide range of genres sublimated to an even higher level. Masahiro Naoe's songwriting also shows a glimpse of new ground, presenting a worldview unique to Carnation. Participating musicians include Tomohiro Jangae, Jun Matsue, Takahiro Ito, Keisuke Okamoto, INO hidefumi, Yusuke Sato (Camera=Mannen Pen), and Shimada Boy, who have supported Carnation's live performances in recent years.

2017年『Suburban Baroque』、2018年の結成35周年記念ベスト盤『The Very Best of CARNATION "LONGTIME TRAVELLER"』を経て制作された『Turntable Overture』では、高い支持を受け続けるオリジナリティー溢れるカーネーションサウンドをベースに、普遍的なポップ感と幅広いジャンル感を更に高い次元へ昇華させた全11曲を収録。直枝政広のソングライティングも新境地を垣間見せ、カーネーションならではの世界観を提示。参加ミュージシャンは近年カーネーションのライヴ演奏を支える張替智広、松江潤、伊藤隆博、岡本啓佑ほか、INO hidefumi、佐藤優介 (カメラ=万年筆)、シマダボーイらが花を添えている。
