Description

[Machine Translation] A sound story of "Five Historical Women" by Carlotta Ferrari, a female composer born in 1975. In symphonic verse form, the story is about Mary Shelley, the English novelist and creator of the monster "Frankenstein"; Maria Restituta, a martyred nun persecuted by the Nazis; Guglielma, a medieval heretic; Frida Kahlo, a Mexican painter; and Teresa of Avila, a medieval nun. Ferrari used his own technique of "modal harmony" (harmony with church melody) to create a musical portrait of these women in a magnificent organ piece. Recorded January 2018.
Note: This is an import edition (manufactured outside of Japan).
