Growing up in the soil of classical music and traveling back and forth to Vienna for performances, I have always admired the depth of the Viennese musical culture and at the same time the lightness that can be felt. The musical perspective and contact with the people that I cultivated during my years there is an experience so rich that it is impossible to sum it up in one word. The fundamental power of the number "3" in the triple time signature is connected to the circle of water, the workings of life, and the rhythms of the universe, and overlaps with my own method of playing music inspired by a drop of water. I want to depict the bonds between people in music, along with the rhythm of the waltz that lives within us all. With this in mind, I created this album. Among the many Bosendorfer world limited edition models that I have had the pleasure of playing, the encounter with the Hokusai model depicting Hokusai Katsushika's "Kanagawa Okinamiura" during the album's production process was particularly meaningful to me. The piano, a work of art that symbolizes the history of Vienna and the fusion of Japanese culture, is like a wonderful friend that transcends musical instruments, and music was born as if we were talking to each other there. 夕暮れ時のウィーンの街でピンク色に染まる空と遠くの鐘の音。通りの家の窓に明かりが灯ると、ふと懐かしい気持ちが呼び覚まされることがある。今回のアルバムのテーマに選んだワルツは、古今東西の作曲家が虜になるリズムであり、中でも、ウィンナーワルツは、特別な魔法がかかった宝箱のような存在。クラシック音楽の土壌に育ち、ウィーンを演奏で行き来する中で私は、ウィーンの音楽文化の奥深さ、そして同時に感じられる軽やかさを敬愛してきた。その中で培った音楽観と人々との触れ合いは一言では語ることができないほどの豊かな経験と なっている。三拍子の「3」という数字が持つ根源的な力は、円を描きながら巡る水の循環や、命の営み、そして宇宙のリズムともつながっていて、私自身の1滴の水からインスピレーションを得る演奏法に重なるものがある。私たちの内に息づくワルツのリズムとともに、人と人との絆を音楽として描きたい。その想いを込めてこのアルバムを制作した。今まで何台ものベーゼンドルファーの世界限定モデルを演奏させていただいてきた中でも、特に今回は、アルバムの制作過程で、葛飾北斎《神奈川沖浪裏》が描かれた北斎モデルとの出逢いがあったことは、大きな意味をもたらしてくれた。ウィーンの歴史を象徴する芸術品、そして日本文化が融合するピアノは楽器を超えて、素晴らしい友人のようであり、そこで語り合うように、音楽が生まれてきた。これまで出逢った方々への感謝の思いを込めて綴った曲、そして、初めて手に取ってくださる皆さまへ。昼から夜の物語が、ほっとするひとときのお供になれますように。どうぞ、ご一緒にワン・ツー・スリー。
