A new dimension of horror eagerly awaited by J-horror fans, depicting the chilling terror trapped within the rough VHS footage left behind by a family connected to a younger brother's disappearance. Starring rising young actor Sugita Rairin, with Hirai Amon, Morita Kokoro, and Fujii Takashi as main cast members. Director Kondo Ryota, currently attracting major attention as a brilliant new talent in horror, makes his commercial film directorial debut with this work. Produced by J-horror legend Shimizu Takashi, whose films continue to become hits. -- "Something that should never appear is recorded on that videotape..." Keita once lost his younger brother during an outing together and now volunteers searching for missing persons. One day, his mother suddenly sends him an old videotape showing the exact moment his brother Hinata disappeared. His roommate Tsukasa, who has spiritual sensitivity, senses an ominous atmosphere from the tape and warns Keita not to get too involved, but Keita begins tracing the cursed past that has haunted him ever since. Reporter Mikoto, who has been following Keita as a subject, joins them as the three head toward the mountain where Hinata disappeared...
