若くして天国に旅立った母が20歳まで娘に送り続けた、愛の手紙。天国の母から届くカードには、母の愛が生きていました。橋本愛×宮崎あおいが親子役で共演! 父役にユースケ・サンタマリア、弟役には須賀健太。すべての人に贈る"家族"の物語。――主人公鈴木紀子は、ちょっと抜けているが、憎めない父親と弟正男、優しくユーモアを忘れない母親に囲まれ、ごく普通の家庭で幸せな日々を過ごしていた。しかし、母親は、紀子が10歳の時に病気で他界してしまう。いつも紀子を励ましてくれた母、このままずっと隣にいてくれると当たり前のように思っていたが・・・。母と過ごした最後の年の10歳の誕生日、母は、20歳を迎えるまで、毎年手紙を送ることを約束した。翌年から、本当に手紙が届き、それは、時にクイズだったり、ファーストキスの仕方だったりとユーモアを交えた人生指南だった。そして、最後の手紙、20歳のバースデーカードには死を覚悟した母親のささやかな生への希望が綴られて・・・。
