fox capture plan releases the fourth installment of remastered editions commemorating their 15th anniversary! In 2026, marking their 15th anniversary, fox capture plan is releasing all 10 original albums they released from their debut through 2021 as special editions - fully remastered with newly recorded material added - in sequential order through their independent label "CapturisM." Closing out the series, the fourth installment covers the 9th album "NEBULA" and the 10th album "XRONICLE," both released in 2021. These are two distinctively different works released back to back at a remarkable pace to mark their 10th anniversary. "XRONICLE" keeps its trademark piano trio format while remaining true to the interweaving of strings, brass, and synthesizers that have appeared throughout fcp's prolific 10-year discography! It opens smokily with (1) "The Dawn coming," which evokes US jazz and LA hip-hop, followed in quick succession by (2) "Akashic Xronicles," a medium-tempo lead track that pleasantly drives forward the crossing of minimal grand piano and synthesizer riffs and moody melodies with an effective beat, and (3) "Nexus," a jazz-rock number where strings heighten the emotion as it races forward on an irregular beat. The album is a richly varied, colorful collection of tracks, including the AOR-flavored, mellow dance tune (4) "DRIVIN'," a self-cover of (7) "Evolution of science," the tie-in song for NHK E-tele's "Science ZERO," and fcp's signature Western-music cover, Dido's (9) "Thank You." Comes in cardboard sleeve packaging.
