The album contains 12 songs, including "Just the Right Happiness" (ending theme song for TV Tokyo Drama 24 "Kotaki Brothers and Four Pains") and "Ushimitsu Jamboree" (ending theme song for TV animation "Gegege no Kitaro"), both of which were released as singles for download. The limited first edition DVD includes the music video for "Kochi no Reunion", the music video for "Just the Right Happiness", and a making-of featurette for the album "Nenchu Sagaru".

約2年ぶりとなるオリジナル・アルバム。1981年アルバム『STARDUST REVUE』でのデビューから止まることなく40周年YEARに突入。プロデューサーに佐橋佳幸を迎え、高い楽曲性を保ちながらも、攻める姿勢と大人のユーモアが随所に散りばめられた通算42枚目のアルバム。年中模索の航海を続けるスタレビの40周年はこのアルバムを皮切りにファンのみならず日本中に音楽の楽しさ、素晴らしさを届けていく。配信シングルとしてリリースした「ちょうどいい幸せ」 (テレビ東京系 ドラマ24「コタキ兄弟と四苦八苦」エンディングテーマ)、「うしみつジャンボリー」 (TVアニメ「ゲゲゲの鬼太郎」エンディング主題歌)を含む全12曲収録。初回限定盤のDVDには、「偶然の再会」ミュージックビデオ、「ちょうどいい幸せ」ミュージックビデオ、アルバム「年中模索」メイキング映像を収録。
