Description

[Machine Translation] A direct descendant of the prestigious Habsburg family that reigned over Europe and a patron of Beethoven, Archduke Rudolf was also Beethoven's pupil and an artist who found his own place in music. This CD features three clarinet works composed by Archduke Rudolf. The recording features Schmiedl, a native of Olmutz, where the archduke served as archbishop, on clarinet, with Tomoko Okada on piano and Varga on cello, an ideal combination for the study of the archduke's music.
Note: This is an import edition (manufactured outside of Japan).
