Description

[Machine Translation] Harpsichordist Eleonore Buhler-Kastler sees in Bach's "English Suites" the symbol of all music. She has recorded the Partita, the Goltberg Variations, and the Toccata, all of which, she says, were the springboard for this recording of Bach's "English Suite. All six suites are written in the same structure, and are clear, with a dance form typical of the period in which they were composed. 4 of the 6 suites are in minor keys, giving them a contemplative feel. Kestler sets the tempi freely and builds Bach's world as he pleases, giving us Bach in contemplation.
Note: This is an import edition (manufactured outside of Japan).

Description in Japanese
