Velvet Revolver boasts the power-packed lineup of lead guitarist Slash, his ex-GNR bandmates bassist Duff McKagen and drummer Matt Sorum, as well as ex-Stone Temple Pilots vocalist Scott Weiland and rhythm guitarist Dave Kushner. Slash's signature guitar riffs and solos are present throughout the whole album. In fact, The songs sound very similar to the old Guns N Roses ones, albeit with a refreshing feel to them. Plus, on this version, there's a bonus live song! Rock lives again!
