Description
The latest Gundam series created through the collaboration between Studio Khara, known for the "Evangelion" series, and Sunrise! Released in theaters on January 17, 2025, "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-" became a major hit, grossing 3.5 billion yen and attracting 2.1 million viewers. Directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki ("Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition"), with series composition by Yoji Enokido and mechanical design by Ikuto Yamashita, the production features an all-star staff. Theme song: Kenshi Yonezu "Plazma." Insert songs: Suisei Hoshimachi "Mou Dou Natte mo Ii ya" and NOMELON NOLEMON "Midnight Reflection." Amate Yuzuriha, a high school girl living peacefully in a space colony, meets a mysterious girl named Nyaan and becomes involved in the illegal mobile suit dueling competition "Clan Battle." Calling herself "Machu," Amate pilots GQuuuuuuX and throws herself into intense battles. Meanwhile, the unidentified mobile suit "Gundam" and its pilot, a boy named Shuji, appear before her. The world is about to enter a new era. Video extras (approx. 1 min): teaser, trailer, main trailer, Promotion Reel, Promotion Reel 2, TVCM collection, and special footage (same as that added after the screening of the main film during the theatrical run).
