完全復活ののりしを上げた恐竜帝国。その脅威に人類は再び恐怖を感じ始めていた。唯一ゲッター線によって稼働する真ゲッターロボの必要性を感じた隼人は、政府の管轄下に置かれた早乙女研究所へ向かう。しかし一足遅く、研究所は恐竜帝国の襲撃を受けた後だった。恐竜帝国の狙いは、真ゲッターロボの破壊、そして早乙女博士の抹殺。研究所に向かう途中で合流した號と共に、隼人は研究所の奥へと急ぐ。だが、その眼前に突如研究所に格納されていたプロトタイプゲッターが現れた。「我が一族の力を思い知るがいい」"ゲッター線による死"をも恐れぬ攻撃に追い詰められていく隼人と號。そして、傷だらけの竜馬の出現!!生死をかけた戦いの先に、新たなゲッターの光が輝く!大ヒット作「真ゲッターロボ」に続くスーパーロボットシリーズ第3弾。音声一部ステレオ。
