テレビ東京系アニメ「絢爛舞踏祭 ザ・マーズ・デイブレイク」が待望のDVD化!! 「COWBOY BEBOP (1998)」「OVERMAN キングゲイナー (2002)」のスタッフが多数参加。SCE X バンダイ X バンダイビジュアルの超強力トライアングルがお届けする夢のメディアミックスプロジェクト!! 汎銀河大戦停戦後、地球軍の駐屯する火星にて。軍の基地で働く若者グラムは他の火星の人々同様に、明日の見えないその日暮らしの毎日を過ごしていた。そんな彼の日常を打ち破るかのようにアデナの軍倉庫を狙って、海賊 "夜明けの船" がやってくる。それを迎え撃つ地球軍のRB(ラウンドバックラー)部隊。その中には、数年ぶりに火星に戻ってきたベスの姿があった。夜明けの船と地球軍の戦いにまきこまれてしまい、ピンチになるグラム。そのとき彼の前に一体のRBが現れた――第1話。海賊の一人ヤガミに誘われ、夜明けの船で働くことになったグラム。しかし戦いに不慣れな彼が犯したミスにより、夜明けの船が衛星軌道上の地球軍にみつかってしまう。地球軍RB部隊の攻撃をうけ、反撃する夜明けの船。だが、夜明けの船の放った魚雷が、地球軍の妨害をうけて、民間人の居住区に向かってしまう――第2話の2話収録。
