第83回アカデミー賞W受賞(助演男優賞・助演女優賞)ほか世界の映画祭で54賞受賞! 観る者全てを圧倒的に魅了する、栄光への物語がBlu-rayリリース!! どん底から頂点へ・・・。夢と嘲笑われた世界チャンピオンを目指して、全力で闘った兄弟の、奇跡の実話。――異父兄弟のディッキーとミッキーは、共にプロボクサー。兄のディッキー(クリスチャン・ベール)は地域の期待を一身に背負う名ボクサーだが、その短気で怠惰な性格から破綻した毎日を送っている。一方、弟のミッキー(マーク・ウォールバーグ)は才能に恵まれず、世界チャンピオンなど夢のまた夢。過保護な母親アリス(メリッサ・レオ)、そして兄のディッキーに言われるがままに試合を重ねるが、一度も勝利を収めることが出来ず、次第に家族の絆もボロボロになっていく。そんな中、薬物中毒となった兄ディッキーが、監獄送りに。人生のどん底まで落ちた兄を見て、ミッキーは彼と縁を切る決断をする。ミッキーを支え続けるガールフレンドのシャーリーン(エイミー・アダムス)と共に再起をかけてトレーニングを重ねるが、そんなミッキーに、ディッキーは監獄の中からもアドバイスを送り続ける。どんなに弟に否定されても、弟を応援し続ける兄。そして、兄の出所の日、ミッキーはディッキーをふたたびコーチに向かえ、二人三脚で再度世界の頂点を目指し始める・・・。
