ゆうばり国際ファンタスティック映画祭史上初の四冠受賞作が遂にDVD化! キングオブコメディ今野浩喜×Hカップアイドル田代さやかで贈る、この世の不安も不条理も根こそぎ笑い蹴飛ばす、とことん熱い青春映画! ――映画監督を夢見る32歳のニート馬場大輔(今野浩喜)は「俺の世界観に合わない映画は撮らない!」と格好つけているくせに一本も映画を撮ろうともせず、自分のモテないルックスや不器用な性格もあり、成功しないのは周りのせいだとばかりに周囲に当たってばかりの困った奴。二人暮しの母親(石井トミコ)にも「いいかげん自分の食いぶちくらい自分で稼ぎなさい。三十すぎてみっともない」と呆れられている。そんな劣等感にまみれた馬場だったが、ある日、メイキング・スタッフとして参加した同級生のイケメン監督・花岡(辻岡正人)の撮影現場で売れない女優の桃子(田代さやか)と出会う。やがて桃子のインタビュー映像を撮影するうちに、彼女の不器用な性格や、気さくに接してくれる態度に柄にも無く惚れてしまう。しかし女性にキスしたことも告白したこともない馬場は、桃子にどうアプローチして良いのか分からない・・・。そんな馬場の気持ちを知らない桃子は監督の花岡への想いを募らせていた・・・。果たして、馬場は自分の殻を破って、桃子に想いを打ち明けられるのか? 不器用な馬場の恋は成就するのか? 爆笑の後に訪れる、日本映画史上、最高に熱いラストシーンは必見!
