A VERY Chinese sounding CD, which is a very good point cause it reflects the theme so much. My favorites of this album are: 1. The opening number "Yun Hua ~Revue Ouka Ranbu~" which is a pretty 'chinese ladies' song. 2. "Ginza Koushin Kyoku" which is a very addictive march about Ginza, that got me sing along at an instant. 3. "Shin Saiyuuki ~Inochi ga Meguri Sekai ga Tsunagaru Toki~" which is a super ending, though it had such a long title indeed. The live version of the ending is a lot better though, cause it was a group number there. I personally enjoyed it more there. Everyone sing along, and it's a REAL Orihime + Kanna duet there (plus Sakura and Iris). The whole Saiyuuki main role sing this awesome song. Not a very satisfying CD overall, but if you feel like hearing the Hanagumi doing wacky stuffs and sounding DIFFERENT from their usual, than this CD is the one for you. And btw, the ending karaoke is honestly a nice treat!

The cd as whole wasn't as good as I expected; in fact I was a little let down. Like Shin Takarajima, there are more kayou songs than pre-show songs and are much better. I like this cd though it's far from my favorite. The cd, unlike previous cds, has A consistent theme which is a Chinese sound, some more than others. Also, there are a crapload of first time duets, some better than others. There are the usual Hanagumi opening number, the Sakura solo and the ending duet song. Finally Kanna gets some recognition; she has three songs and all three shows her range as a singer. The one thing I don't like about this cd is that there is a karaoke version of the Kanna/Orihime duet which is fine cuz it's a beautiful song. However there was a Dandy Boss, Maria and Reni song in the pre-show. Those are three of the best singers in Sakura Taisen, especially Dandy Boss; you simply don't pass that up. As much as I like this cd, I have to say this is the weakest soundtrack of them all. I've you're a major Sakura Taisen fan or a Kanna fan or a Saiyuuki fan, go ahead and buy this. If not, I would say avoid this and buy something else.
