I wish I had bought this before I bought the BGM CD. This is a very good collection of Sakura Wars songs. There are 11 fantastic vocal songs each at around 4/5 minutes long. And most of the BGM songs are a good length too. A few songs are intermission tunes at 10 seconds each, but this is a high quality selection of songs from the TV series. I would still get the BGM, because the beautiful character songs on there are not on this CD, but get this CD first. It's a real treat for fans of the series. Every song causes me to reminisce about the anime and game. The CD itself is gorgeous! It is a little hard to open at first, but as long as you're careful it should be fine. The illustrations and screenshots inside are fantastic. Basically, this should be part of your collection.

I loved Sakura Taisen when it first appeared on Dreamcast. I am a big fan of the series. If you like the series, then I suggest you pick up this CD also. Its a Must Own.
Lots of synthesized music here. If you loved it in the game, you'll love it here. It also has some character songs which you might enjoy. I really like the opening theme, but overall I didn't have enough background with the series to fully enjoy this.
