In this series, some of the mysteries running throughout Leiji Matsumoto's works, including the backgrounds of heroines Maetel (from Galaxy Express 999) and Emeraldas (from Captain Harlock), are revealed. This volume tells the story of Maetel and how she came to board the Glaxy Express 999. Some secret character(s) makes its appearance. This volume runs a few minutes longer than the first one.
