Description

Blu-ray release from theatrical feature of anime "Time of Eve," which won Original Video Animation category excellence award of 2010 Tokyo International Anime Fair's 9th Tokyo Anime Award. Influenced by the Robot Ethics Committee, it's become common sense for people to treat androids like home electrical appliances. A high school student Rikuo has also used them as convenient tools. One day, he finds some strange phrase data in the behavior log, "** Are you enjoying the time of EVE? **," of his family's household android, Sammy. Rikuo and his friend Masaki trace Sammy's movements and discover a mysterious cafe where has a rule that humans and robots are to be treated the same.

新時代・WEBで切り拓いたオリジナル・アニメーションの金字塔!! 2008年8月～2009年9月にYahoo!(GyaO!)動画、ニコニコ動画で配信され、口コミで話題を呼び累計視聴数が300万回を超えた話題のアニメ『イヴの時間』の劇場版!! 東京国際アニメフェア2010・第9回東京アニメアワード優秀賞OVA部門受賞。 ――ロボット倫理委員会の影響で、人々はアンドロイドを"家電"として扱う事が社会常識となっていた時代。頭上にあるリング以外は人間と全く変わらない外見により、必要以上にアンドロイドに入れ込む若者が現れた。彼らは"ドリ系"(※Android Holic=アンドロイド精神依存症)と呼ばれ、社会問題とされるほどである。高校生のリクオも幼少の頃からの教育によってアンドロイドを人間視することなく、便利な道具として利用していた。ある時、リクオは自家用アンドロイドのサミィの行動記録に「** Are you enjoying the time of EVE? ＊＊」という不審な文字列が含まれている事に気付く。行動記録を頼りに親友のマサキとともにたどり着いた先は「当店内では、人間とロボットの区別をしません」というルールを掲げる喫茶店「イヴの時間」だった・・・。
