"Daydream - 30th Anniversary Edition - [Blu-spec CD2] [Softpack]" by Mariah Carey
Description
A completely limited production edition celebrating the 30th anniversary of the smash-hit album "Daydream." Mariah Carey's fifth album, released in 1995 following the previous year's successful "Merry Christmas," represented a shift beyond traditional American pop as she pursued a new musical direction.
The hip-hop-oriented "Fantasy" reached No. 1 in the United States. Her collaboration with Boyz II Men, "One Sweet Day," subsequently remained at the top of the U.S. singles chart for 16 consecutive weeks. Also featuring popular tracks such as "Always Be My Baby," the album topped both the U.S. album chart and Japan's Oricon album chart. Its sales exceeded 25 million copies worldwide, including 2.2 million in Japan.
This 30th anniversary release is a completely limited-production two-CD edition in a Softpack, combining the original album with numerous previously unreleased recordings. Lyrics, Japanese translations and liner notes are included. Both CDs feature the high-quality Blu-spec CD2 format.
