Released in 1995, Mariah Carey's fifth album "Daydream" was an ambitious work that followed the previous year's smash hit "Merry Christmas," marking a turning point from classic American pop and the beginning of her challenge toward a new stage.

The bold hip-hop track "Fantasy" brilliantly reached No. 1 in the U.S., while her duet with Boyz II Men, "One Sweet Day," went on to spend 16 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the U.S. singles chart. Featuring many other popular songs such as "Always Be My Baby," the album reached No. 1 on both the U.S. album chart and the Oricon album chart, and became a massive hit, selling more than 25 million copies worldwide and 2.2 million copies in Japan.

The 30th anniversary edition is scheduled to be released as a completely limited production edition in a paper jacket specification, with two CDs containing the original work as well as many previously unreleased recordings. Includes lyrics, Japanese translations, and liner notes. High-quality Blu-spec CD2 specification.
