L'Arc-en-Ciel to Release 12 Albums on Vinyl for Their 35th Anniversary

January 13, 2027 Release

• Tierra:
  The second studio album, released on July 14, 1994. It was acclaimed for its bitter sound that creates an ambient atmosphere, its naivete and decadence, lyrics that seem to wander through time and space, expressive vocals, and songs rich with potential.
• heavenly:
  Released on September 1, 1995. While retaining the nostalgic and fantastical sound of the band's previous work, it takes a more direct rock and pop approach. The world of hyde's lyrics also expands, expressing feelings of loneliness throughout the album through themes of humanity, Earth, and the universe.
• True:
  L'Arc-en-Ciel's fourth album is a powerful culmination of the band's first era. Its three clear vectors are rock, pop, and nostalgia. Moving beyond the band's established guitar sound, it also ventures into strings and a horn section performed by TOKYO SKA PARADISE ORCHESTRA. Includes 10 tracks, including "Kaze ni kienaide" (album mix), "flower", and "Lies and Truth".
• HEART:
  The fifth album, released on February 25, 1998. Arriving after one year and two months, it welcomes new drummer yukihiro and contains 10 tracks filled with melancholy, pop, and power.

February 17, 2027 Release

• ark:
  The sixth album, released on July 1, 1999. "ark" is one of two L'Arc-en-Ciel albums released simultaneously. A great ark carrying all of humanity at the end of the century breaks through the atmosphere.
• ray:
  The seventh album, released on July 1, 1999. "ray" is one of two L'Arc-en-Ciel albums released simultaneously. The world beyond the atmosphere is a land of light.
• REAL:
  The eighth album, released on August 30, 2000. It includes the hit singles "LOVE FLIES", "NEO UNIVERSE", "finale", and "STAY AWAY". It features an even more concentrated guitar sound than before.
• SMILE:
  Released on March 31, 2004. The long-awaited ninth album arrives three years and seven months after "REAL", released in August 2000. It contains 10 tracks, including the smash-hit singles "Spirit dreams inside", "READY STEADY GO", and "Hitomi no juunin".

March 17, 2027 Release

• AWAKE:
  Released on June 22, 2005. This landmark 10th original album displays an unprecedented breadth, ranging from explosive rock and roll to slow symphonic music and industrial sounds. In addition to the four advance singles "Jiyuu eno shoutai", "Killing Me", "New World", and "Jojoushi", it includes "LOST HEAVEN", the ending theme for the 2005 film "Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa".
• KISS:
  Released on November 21, 2007. The 11th original full-length album arrives two years and five months after its predecessor, "AWAKE". It contains 12 tracks packed with hit singles, including "SEVENTH HEAVEN", "DAYBREAK'S BELL", and "Hurry Xmas".
• BUTTERFLY:
  Released on February 8, 2012, this is the first new album in approximately four years and three months. The 12th original album includes seven powerhouse singles spanning "DRINK IT DOWN" through "CHASE".
• ectomorphed works:
  A 10-track collection of L'Arc-en-Ciel self-remixes by yukihiro, ranging from "Shinshoku re-mix", included as a B-side track on the 1998 single "Shinshoku -lose control-", to "trick -new wave of japanese heavy metal mix-", included on the 2000 single "NEO UNIVERSE/finale".
