While I continue to have issues with other companies, CD Japan continues to be entirely reliable and easy to shop with. To think that I order from half way across the planet and everything arrives in perfect condition in exceptional time without fail with CD Japan, while companies closer to home fail on every level. The whole shopping experience has been great. I am very happy with CDJapan.

My only complaint is that if I want to combine orders or add new releases to an existing order, CDJapan is unable to just charge me the difference, and instead refunds the original purchase and simultaneously charges the total for the new purchase. Because of lags in banking time, it’s sometimes imperfect - and I will hesitate to add to an order as a result. Fix this and I will buy more.

When I placed my order it said one of the items ships in 3-7 days. Several days after placing my order I received an update that the availability had changed to 3-4 weeks. About 4 weeks later I was informed the item is unobtainable and has been cancelled from my order. I would be completely forgiving if after placing my order I was told the information was inaccurate and the item unobtainable, but it seems egregious that twice I was given inaccurate information about item availability and made to wait so long for my order to ship only to have the item cancelled. I also lost out on 500 points since my order was over 10,000 yen pre-cancellation; I wish that once it was learned the item was unobtainable that I had been given the choice of either getting a refund or editing my order, as I would have gladly gotten something off of my wishlist, which would have benefitted us both more than what happened. The shipment packaging is very good quality and airmail shipping is reliably quick.

As on many previous occasions, simple website and excellent service

As usual, all items were packaged very well, and everything arrived in excellent condition - even the second-hand items! The delivery was excellent as well. DHL ships quickly, and they deliver packages according to my instructions - right to my apartment door. The only disappointing thing about my order is due to my own oversight. Accidentally, I ordered two different copies of the same item. Somehow I didn't notice that I ordered the same second-hand magazine from two different sources, and one of them cost more than four times as much as the other. My mistake. However, I was quite pleased with CDJapan's customer service. They kept me informed of every potential issue or problem with my order in a timely manner. Their communication with me was excellent.

It's difficult to know the procesure of your proxy shopping for cds. 2.I like to get your shmcds,shm-sacds and 7 inches（sacd)shm cds' release news and want to know whole these high quality catalog on CDJP, hoping you have an exclusive or special area to offer these cds past and new releasing news and buying catalog. Just a little note, because it's so unusual for CD Japan. I ordered the Kiss Destroys Anaheim SHM CD and there was glue in the CD cover that did not harden and my CD booklet was stuck inside. I'm not sure about putting the CD and booklet back inside the cover because of this. That's a problem with manufacturing.

As always highly recommended for ordering cds from, excellent packaging and shipped really quickly, I can order cds from Japan and they get to me quicker than some places here in the United Kingdom.
