CDJapan Customer Feedback

The threshold for free shipping is so high now. It means if I want free shipping, I have to spend an amount that forces me to pay customs. This also means I can't prepay (pay in advance) VAT and other fees either. This is extremely inconvenient. I will buy less often from CDJapan because of this. It used to be my favorite place to shop Fude, but now it's not as high above the others. CDJapan is still better than all others except one (which I won't name).

As usual, packaging and items were fine. I answered Q4 with Average or Don't Know because I did not have to contact customer support. Since the last survey I have had no issues using the website.

I was very disappointed to see that the packaging of my limited-edition product was damaged due to customs inspection. As a collector, the original packaging is very important to me, and this damage has affected my experience a lot. I understand customs inspections are unavoidable, but I hope the company can take extra care when packing limited-edition items to minimize such risks.

I love shopping at CDJapan because I get to pick the shipper, the packaging, I get to pay EU taxes during checkout and I absolutely love J-pop and photobooks of Japanese idols both of which I cannot buy in The Netherlands.

The service has always been great from CDJapan.. please never let that change :)

How expensive the shipping is, include the customs, duties

I don’t like the fact that my last order of bags cost So much,and then after paying ,I got a additional Bill for 20.00 from fed express.

Order is always easy and straight forward. Shipping is very fast and customer service is very prompt and efficient. Packaging is always very sturdy and protects the products well. Experience has been positive every single time :)

Question 3: this order was for a magazine featuring ai shinozaki. I subscribe to new release emails for her releases, but didn't get one for this magazine. (I only found out about it because she announced it on X/twitter). This is the second time in the last six weeks that this has happened.

Please do regular updates on the CD Japan app because I constantly get messages that there is no connection between my mobile and your server. Thank you

Prices on certain items are slightly better now, competitive pricing with Amazon Japan.
