CDJapan Customer Feedback

Unfortunately, my shipment was sent back to Japan because a new EU rule came into effect on July 1, 2026. However, CDJapan support helped me out, even though the shipping costs increased significantly as a result!

I have commented on this multiple times before, abd I don't enjoybrepeating myself. Please takes these down, and be pro-active about it. 1. More title details — detailed track list (preferably with track times when available). 2. Specify the all-important presence of an obi strip, particularly for CDs manufactured outside Japan. Stop wasting our time having to write to the most clueless customer support ever encountered. 3. Basically, just more detailed product details.

I have yet to report the issue because life is busy and this is yet another thing I need to manage, but my most recent package arrived and both of the deluxe games inside had micro tears all on the corner seals and box compression on one of two boxes. Just disappointing for how much I paid in shipping.

Not at all happy about a cost increase in an order I already paid for. The time to decide on a course of action is inadequate given you need 5 working days to respond to me. There should be more options for altering the order, including making it multiple orders, partial cancellation or the use of points to reduce the cost (including reward points that you woul give in relation to this order). I like CDJapan, I've been loyal but I could order figures from other suppliers who are much more responsive.

My last order arrived with plastic packaging tape instead of the paper tape used previously. Plastic tape is more difficult to recycle in Australia. Paper tape can simply go into the yellow recycling bin with the rest of the packaging, whereas soft plastic tape requires special handling or must go into the red landfill bin. It also takes time to separate the plastic tape from the parcel. In other words, I would prefer paper packaging tape whenever possible.

Great packaging. I used Amazon Japan, and I was shocked by how bad their packaging was.

description of products may be improved, it will be nice to find more details about cd packing, what is audio format ( on blu-ray ), more filters to easier find - for example: multi channel SACD in 7’ mini LP carton, audio blu-ray

As an English user from the United States, I am incredibly impressed with how easy it is for me to purchase from CDJapan. Information is easy to find, accurate, and trustworthy. If it weren't for tariffs, I'd be buying even more from the website.
