Since their striking record debut in 1979, CASIOPEA has continued to lead the fusion scene as one of Japan's representative super bands. Their sound, which literally embodies the debut catchphrase "Thrill, Speed, Super Technique," established an entirely new musical style previously unheard of by effortlessly combining approachable melodies created by Issei Noro's exceptional compositional ability with extremely technical performances, producing many famous songs such as "ASAYAKE" and "DOMINO LINE." The band has maintained its reputation through member changes across several phases: the first phase from the formation in 1977 to 1989, the second phase from 1990 to 2006, and the third phase beginning in 2012, marking the 35th anniversary of the band after a six-year hiatus under the name CASIOPEA 3rd. From 2022 to 2024 the band entered its fourth phase as CASIOPEA P4 when drums were handed over from Akira Jimbo to Yoshinori Imai. In May 2025 Jun Abe joined as a new member, and the group name returned to its original form CASIOPEA to mark the fifth phase. The first live performances, the "NEW MEMBER's GIG 2025" tour at Billboard Live Osaka, Billboard Live Tokyo, and Billboard Live Yokohama, attracted significant attention from both music fans and professional musicians. This release fully records all 20 songs from the passionate final performance of the commemorative fifth phase kickoff summer tour "CASIOPEA Summer Tour 2025 TRUE BLUE" held at CLUB CITTA' on September 11, 2025, presented in high-quality Blu-spec CD2 format.

1979年の鮮烈なレコードデビュー以降、日本を代表するスーパーバンドとして、フュージョンシーンのトップを走り続けているCASIOPEA。デビュー当時のキャッチコピーである「スリル・スピード・スーパーテクニック」を文字通り体現しているそのサウンドは、野呂一生の類いまれな作曲能力による親しみやすいメロディーと超絶テクニカルなプレーをいとも簡単に両立させるという、それ迄には考えられなかった全く新しい音楽性を確立し「ASAYAKE」「DOMINO LINE」等、数多くの名曲を世に送り出している。1977年の結成から1989年までの第1期、1990年から2006年までの第2期、6年の休止を経てバンド結成35周年の2012年からCASIOPEA 3rdと名称変更し再始動の第3期と、メンバーチェンジを経ながらもバンドとしての評価を維持し続けている。2022年から2024年、ドラムスを神保彰氏から今井義頼氏にバトンタッチCASIOPEA P4として第4期。2025年5月、新メンバーに安部潤を迎え、これを機に第5期グループ名をオリジナル表記の CASIOPEA とする。初ライブとなる「NEW MEMBER's GIG 2025」ビルボードライブ大阪・ビルボードライブ東京・ビルボードライブ横浜ツアーは音楽ファンのみならずプロミュージシャンからも大きな注目を集めた。今作は、記念すべき第5期キックオフ夏のライブツアー『CASIOPEA・Summer Tour 2025TRUE BLUE』の千秋楽、2025年9月11日 CLUB CITTA'での白熱のライブステージ全20曲を完全収録。高音質ブルースペックCD2仕様でお届け。
