I have owned multiple versions of this album on various formats, so believe me when I say this: this is the best version of this album ever released. The SACD surround sound 5.1 mix layer is the main reason to buy this. The band sounds organic and live in my home thanks to this surround mix, it's like hearing this album for the first time ever. Perfect music separation and clarity. Plus, this packaging is stellar. I'm a big fan of the 7 inch size packaging for hi-fidelity CDs and wish more were released. All the tangible extras are just icing on the cake. This is a must buy for any fan of this album. This is a hybrid disc, so you can play it on any standard CD player, but to hear the 5.1 surround sound layer, you will need an SACD player.
I do not listen to him a lot, but bought it for a memory the SACD. I reccomend this to others as well.
