Every song in this OST has a lot of variety and a way of really exciting ones imagination to come up with a mental visual story for the score. There are also a lot of vocal songs with English lyrics to guide one's dreams toward a theme of being lost on an alien planet. Of course, this being a soundtrack for a game, one can imagine where these songs may play, if you hadn't played the game yet. For those who have played the game, the songs serve as a strong memo of the struggles and discovery you may have had during your adventures on Planet Mira. Hiroyuki Sawano is a favorite composer of my mine, and this soundtrack continues to highlight why. If there ever is a sequel to Xenoblade [Chronicles] X, I hope he returns to brings us more great songs. This is the first video game soundtrack he's worked on, and it was great. Keeping making great songs, Sawano-san!!
