In their search for clues to the elixir of life, the group arrives at the stronghold of the island-ruling monsters known as the "Tensen". To survive and return alive from the island, cooperation becomes essential, regardless of whether one is a death-row criminal or an executioner. Meanwhile, the shogunate orders an additional landing on Shinsenkyo, led by Yamada Asaemon Shugen. Among those present are members of the Iwagakure-shu, who have past ties to Gabimaru. As Gabimaru and the others attempt to find the elixir as quickly as possible and escape the island, the Tensen stand in their way. The battle over the elixir escalates into an all-out confrontation between "humans" and the "Tensen". Video extras include a collection of promotional videos and cast audio commentary. Packaging features an anime newly illustrated digipak with a specially designed slipcase. Includes a special booklet.
