The band members Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Brad Whitford, and Joey Kramer released their self-titled debut album "Aerosmith [Aerosmith I]" in the United States on January 5, 1973. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the release of this multi-platinum debut album, a definitive edition has been produced. Aerosmith co-founding members Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, with the cooperation of Grammy Award-nominated producer and mixer Zakk Cervini (Blink-182, Halsey) and Grammy Award-winning producer Steve Berkowitz, newly remixed the original recordings and tapes, taking on the attempt to finally realize the vision the band originally intended without excessive processing. As a result, the Legendary Edition collection was created, including the latest 2024 album mix.
