i am very happy with this deluxe reissue and the replica cardboard sleeves are fantastic!!! for me the first 3 rainbow albums with dio are the best, most fans like me consider rising the best BUT i really have always felt that long live rock n roll and the debut rainbow album from 1975 are about as good as rising, anyway as the above person stated the sound lacks the bass a bit but the songs are all still great, ive been into this record for some 33 years now and i love this reissue, as for the bonus tracks i have had most of them since the late 90s on bootleg cd so i am aware of them, since this is an official release i feel the record company did a good job cleaning the sound on them up, it is great to hear the title track again as well as the classics like gates of babylon, lady of the lake and L.A connection, i was very pleased last year with the deluxed editions of rising and down to earth. i would love to see the first rainbow album from 1975 deluxed, i know as a fact there was almost no materiel left over from those sessions BUT i have a number of full show bootlegs from late 1975, rainbow where even doing stargazer then with different lyrics so that would be great for a future potential release, anyway great classic record here i love it, i must give it 5 stars.
Very nice mini lp design. As far as the sound goes, I think this is as good as this can sound, but this album should have been remixed. The lack of any bass in this recording sadly does take away from what would be an above average album.
