Southern Harmony" was released in 1992 and topped the Billboard magazine's album chart in the US. Southern Harmony was the album where we really came into our own as a band and created our own sound," said Black Crowes' guitarist and producer, John Harris. We did that record in eight days," said Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes. We finished the record in eight days. We recorded every song in one or two takes. It's just the band playing at their best, and it's just the way they were. CD1 contains the remastered version of the original album, and CD2 is a bonus disc titled "The Best of the Box," which contains 9 tracks of previously unreleased and hidden material.
