This transcription to CD is absolutelly breathtaking. You do not get the feeling of being sit among the audience, but of being conducting the hole orchestra. An absolute amazing sound and, believe me, I have heard a lot of audiophile CDs. But this one... I still do not believe that I am hearing a 1960 recording. It must been have a misprint. Besides that, you have a Russian composer by a Russian orchestra and conductor (and what a conductor). It is the best of three worlds.
