w-inds. - THE SYSTEM OF ALIVE

Released a year after their first album, "The System of Alive" shows the growth of w-inds as artists. The song writer Hiroaki Hayama continues in bringing out the true potential of w-inds. His songs are energizing and sophisticated, making the disk worthy of more than one sitting. The main vocalist, Keita, is able to do a variety of songs without appearing to struggle through the notes. He is also very vocal in the feelings that come through his singing. Besides doing the chorus, the other two members, Ryohei and Ryuichi are very talented in rap. This talent makes the album even more entertaining when, instead of subtracting from the album, their talents combine to make the songs combust with even more energy and vitality. This is one of my favorite w-inds. album because of the variety of songs that are offered and the depth in meaning in the lyrics. In addition, this album is very upbeat and can easily cheer anyone right up! Here's a list of my favorites in this album and I especially recommend the titles marked w/ a star.
